DA 2.5 Classis Edition just released. And some pics of new parts are posted recently.
Please check the differences of the classic with the DA 2.5 summer edition and the upcoming new parts by the parts comparison table from @Nares Jack Vacharaksa who well-know about the DriftArt Chassis
Both classic and summer editions are DA 2.5 which have updated plastic front arms, KPI knuckles, carbon front shock tower with additional hole, quick adjust gold links, gold ball head, DA ball caps.
The differences between the two would be
- DVF: Aluminum servo arms with full tilt setting on the summer edition and nylon adjustable servo arms and 12 degree tilt set on the classic.
- Summer edition also has V-belt (teeth belt final drive) and aluminum pulley and aluminum gear box while the classic has normal belts and nylon pulley and nylon gear box (updated 2.5 design).
In the table:
? Those parts highlighted in grayish-blue are new for 2.5.
? Those non-highlighted are optional parts available since the start of 2.0 up to 2.5.
? Those orange ones are upcoming awaited front and rear arms.
Drift Art 2 kept evolving in the past year since it’s been out. The original version I had back in November 2020 was running very well even it came with nylon shocks and CVDs and normal belts. Each upgrade added made the car better and Drift Art has made use of 3D print as an advantage that parts can be updated without having to create new molds. These nylon 3D prints parts are tough and all screw holes came pre-threaded.
It seems a bit confusing to keep up with what option parts are available, so Nares tried to compile them in this table. From Nares recomendation, optional parts are optional, they are not required to make the car runs well but they made Drift Art 2 a better experience.
